NEU members are eligible to stand for election as officers of the Union, members of the executive or members of the annual and special conferences of the Union.

Support staff pay has lost around 20% of its real value since 2010. Any pay award must be fully funded by the central government.
All pay progression including onto and on the Upper Pay Range should be automatic and annual.
